The Breakfast Club was formed during the summer of 2002 by three friends from the Cherry Hill, NJ area, some of whom had played together in bands over the past twenty five years. The members include Kevin Donahue (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Bob "Willy" Williams (Bass, Guitar, Vocals), and Burt Bowen (Keyboards, Vocals).
"Willy and I had been in a band together in the early 80"s and had stayed on touch over the years" said Kevin Donahue. "Burt and I are neighbors; we started jamming together and eventually borrowed a PA from Willy to play a small gig at the neighborhood pool. After the initial swim club gig we decided that it might be fun to all get together for another event coming up at the pool."
After just three rehearsals The Breakfast Club played their first gig as a band. Since then the band has played private parties, night clubs, charity and corporate events, and Delaware Valley sports venues for teams such as the Camden Riversharks and Philadelphia Kixx.We take pride in our professional approach and make every effort to make yours an event to remember!
